Catch-22 Illustrated

I purchase a new pair of long nose pliers, because I lost my previous set:

I foolishly attempt to open my purchase:

Ah, what's this? Why yes. I see now. I need a pair of pliers to open my pliers.

Better yet, this concept is patent-pending. Finally, a patent application I can agree with. This "invention" is indeed nonobvious. The way holding up a senior citizen at knifepoint is nonobvious to most people.
