I'll be talking about Eclipse, an open source Integrated Development Environment (IDE) that's recently been ported to Mac OS X. Eclipse is written in Java, and currently supports Java development (with C++ and Cobol in the works). This IDE has a host of interesting features, like language-aware text editing, code assistants, integrated code reformatting and refactoring and continual compilation.
