PSIG 54: Thursday April 4th, 2002
Attendance: Jim Williams will haul in his Blue & White G3 to show off OneClick in action. OneClick is a surprisingly capable package that allows you to automate other programs, create automation button palettes and even create you own interfaces. Reminds me of HyperCard. I'll give a quick intro on Aspect-Oriented Programming. Originating from PARC, this technique handles issues that are difficult using procedural and object-oriented techniques. True to its name, AOP handles "aspects" -- concerns of design that cut across object classes and are otherwise hard to model traditionally. Thursday, April 04, 2002
