PSIG 5: Wednesday October 16, 1996
Attendance: 12 John O'Fallon from Maxum Development Corp. talked about writing Web Server CGIs and plug-ins. John reluctantly shared some of his inner feelings about a few Web-server related topics. I learned how to fool your Macintosh into thinking the entire Internet is inside your machine. Mark Thalman helped John out when we realized in horror that the presentation machine didn't have a web browser. The presentation machine has been upgraded to 72 MB of RAM (from 16 MB), making presentations much easier & faster. I'm still able to remember everyone's name. We raffled off a copy of WebQuick by Europa Software which normally sells for $49.95. Richard Roetter was the lucky winner. Wednesday, October 16, 1996
