PSIG 18: Thursday October 1st, 1998

I did a presentation on Open Transport: STREAMS, XTI, Sockets and Configurators. It went well.

The BBEdit Plugin curse continues. This time I brought along my Duo, which I know the plugin works on, to the meeting to present off. After my presentation on Open Transport, I went to demo the plugin. It froze the machine. Only after the meeting I learned MacsBug 6.5.4a6 was to blame, it works fine under 6.5.4a4 and earlier. Grrr.

We got pizza, however after we ordered it we came to the horrible conclusion we didn't know our own address. There are no numbers on any of the suites. I only could give a vague description, and we eventually found the pizza guy wandering around.
