rentzsch.com: tales from the red shed

PSIG 11: Wednesday May 21, 1997

Programming Special Interest Group
Location: The NorthWest of Us Office
Attendance: 7

Garth Cummings talked about his epic journey known to mortals as WWDC. He brought insights to the meeting with notes scribbled on a new MessagePad 2000 (ooh, aah).

Olof Hellman presented scriptablity. He took a scriptable application he wrote and set a few breakpoints. Then he lead us through what happens where and why when AppleScript attempts to take the ramblings of a user and turn them into commands for your application to execute.

The office had a vents installed and a NorthWest of Us member cleaned the carpets, however I still stunk of smoke by the end of the meeting.
