Dear Yahoo! Tech News
Dear Yahoo! Tech News: I subscribe to your RSS feed because you do a pretty good rounding out tech news. You'll give me maybe six interesting stories per week I don't see in my other subscriptions, which is pretty good for a mainstream site like yours. That's why I keep you around. However, you also have this tendency to try to work celebrity news into my tech feed.
I know geeks are socially pathetic and you're just trying to give us something -- anything -- non-computer-related to talk about with the hot chicks at the cool parties. While I sincerely appreciate the effort, I assure you I enjoy many varied websites of general interest and do not require hot hot hot celebrity gossip injected into my daily tech news. Please keep your pop vixen revelations on the appropriate section of your site. Hugs and Kisses, Wolf P.S. Do tech news items ever breach into your "Entertainment - Gossip/Celebrity" section? Would you be held liable for the resulting head explosions if an article detailing the latest in object relational mapping were slipped under a Jessica Simpson headline? Tuesday, April 12, 2005
