Death from Above 1979: mach_star x86

That dream died Monday June 6 2005 around 11 am PST.

Setting aside the theatrics, I'm getting pinged with a lot of interest if I'll be bringing mach_star (the mach_override, mach_inject, mach_inject_bundle, combo) to Mac OS X86.

It's in the cards.

It won't be in the upcoming next version, which is going to focus on getting mach_inject_bundle studly even in the face of dyld sliding around addresses in virtual memory. But it's on the agenda.

Anyone know a good, modern x86 reference?
