Wilcox on PyObjC
Ryan Wilcox is impressed with PyObjC.
So am I. I got spooked by the installer, however. It seemed to me that you couldn't create stand-alone Cocoa apps with it. You'd have to ship the PyObjC installer along with your app and instruct your users to install it first. Ick.
Fortunately, Bill Bumgarner clued me in. You can build stand-alone Cocoa apps with PyObjC -- it adds about 1MB to the footprint. Not the best, but definitely doable.
Update: Bill comments.
