Engineer Entrepreneurs

I love writing software and devote countless hours attempting to hone code into a perfect realization of a goal. Selling software, however, is ultimate gratification. When a person purchases my software, I get a fantastic rush of fulfillment. Here is someone who liked my software so much that they're willing to plunk down their own money to purchase it.

I'm currently moving away from consulting and moving towards supporting myself solely by writing and selling my software. Others have already achieved this goal -- I've named this class of individuals Engineer Entrepreneurs.

These are the folks that invent and construct new products and then establish businesses to market their wares. To be a great engineer is an achievement in itself, but to then found a successful business is the height of accomplishment.

To learn from their mistakes and their successes, I interviewed a handful of these fore-runners. As a service to other aspiring Engineer Entrepreneurs, I've made the interviews public.
