Flaky Linksys Hub
A have a client who has a couple of Linksys 100Mbs hubs deployed, mixed in with about another 7 hubs and switches of various brands.
Watchout for these Linksys hubs. About every three weeks or so they'll go deaf on a port or two. You can hasten the deafness by plugging and unplugging the cables. The solution: yank the power for five seconds, and replug.
This does not seem to be a Linksys issue in general. I have a Linksys 24 port 100 Mbps hub which will not die.
